Arms and hands go numb while sleeping on my stomach after breast augmentation - what can be causing this?

I'm 6 months post op, was a 34b now a 34G,with 550cc silicone HP under the muscle implants placed. I've only ever been able to sleep on my stomach for most of my life. Ever since getting the ok to again,post op,I find that my arms,wrists and hands tend to hurt and then go numb. Is this because my implants are so large? Am I causing circulation problems that can harm me? Advice on how to alleviate this?

it is unlikely that your BA surgery causes arms and hands numbness. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine if is there something wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You chose very large implants which now put additional pressure on your nerves when you sleep on your stomach. Trying sleeping on a pillow or train yourself to sleep on your side.

I recommend beginning with a visit to your surgeon for an evaluation.  You may be placing stress on nerves or have stretched nerves as a result of your surgery.  Your surgeon will advise on next steps.
