20 days ago I had a FUE HAIR TRANSPLANT, in which 3600 grafts were harvested from my Donor Area to cover up my thinning hair but I am a bit concerned whether my donor area was over harvested or should I just give it a bit more time to heal and then to regrow normally. The problem is my right side (above my right ear) looks thicker compared to my left side? Is this uneven hair growth normal? Please advice!

Answer: Over harvesting from FUE can be an issue and cause the patchy appearance. It may also be due to shock hair loss.
Scabbing after FUE is to be expected. You should follow your surgeons recommended hair washing regimen. We having a video on the website if you'd like a detailed step by step post FUE hair washing routine. Hopefully every day has less and less scabbing as the healing process...
It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative issue as each doctor has their unique regimen. Normal scalp hair density is about 200 hairs in a square centimeter so you can get a baseline of what to expect.
I know exactly what this is. It is hair that was supposed to shed but you have not been aggressive with scrubbing your scalp during your shampoos. You need to realize that you help shedding hairs by scrubbing during a shampoo. I guarantee that if you tugged on each follicle it would come right...
