I am a 22yo female, I had this mole removed about a month ago and it still looks like this and the scar is going to be horrific. I called in and they said “they don’t do sutures on a shave” and idk what else to do. Please help me! I don’t have the money to see a plastic surgeon and don’t know what I can do to try and fix this issue
Answer: TCA cross ca be done for this scar Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Answer: Subcision--Simple, Safe, Effective & Inexpensive Technique For Elevating & Smoothing Indented Scars Really sorry that this has happened to you. Going forward, should you have any other moles that require removal in a cosmetically important area, check out "Scalpel Sculpting." For the current problem subcision is a simple and relatively inexpensive technique for elevating and smoothing all kinds of indented scars, whether caused by injury, acne, chickenpox or surgery, as in this case. It has a several decades' long track record for both safety and efficacy in all skin types and works precisely by breaking the tethering scar collagen bonds that keep the scar indented and by stimulating new native collagen and elastic fiber synthesis to ensure a long-lasting to permanent improvement. I have personally been performing this since 1994. Scar revision surgery, on the other hand, in areas of static muscular tension or movement, such as the neck region often results in the development of stretch scars and tram track stitch marks. The use of bells and whistles, like fraxel lasers (as well as so many other expensive and faddish energy-based devices) unfortunately has a whole lot more marketing hype to promote its use than any hard science to support it. So, exercise a weighty amount of "beware beware" when evaluating these kinds of treatments.Best of luck.

Answer: Mole Removal Hi there! Sorry that you're having trouble with your neck mole removal. It appears that the lesion is raw and somewhat deep. There is a good chance the area can granulate (heal) with care. Antibiotic ointment and a dressing such as a Band-Aid to keep moisture and prevent infection will help while the skin regrows. I would definitely recommend revisiting with the Dermatologist as a shave biopsy should not have significant complications. You may even benefit from an oral antibiotic. Hope you find the help you need!
