Any advice on how to improve this golf-putter scar on the bridge of my nose? (Photos)

I have personally been performing manual microneedling (not RF microneedling) for nearly twenty-five years. It is a simple, relatively inexpensive treatment technique for treating superficial, surface color and/or texture irregularities in scars and blending them better with the surrounding normal skin. It may also help to elevate very minimally indented scars, as seems to be the case here. (On the other hand, RF microneedling devices, which have come on the scene much more recently, tend to be expensive and lack the hard science to support their routine use and are far more backed by a whole lot of marketing hype). And the RF microneedling can add to an increased chance for adverse reactions, which is probably what you are referring to in your question. For a small area such as this, a manual Dermastamp microneedling device can be used quite effectively and quite inexpensively. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

Scars on convex surfaces are difficult to treat without fillers or subcision. I would recommend a scar modulation protocol to resurface the skin and improve contour.

Hi there! There are options to improve the indention on your nose. Microneedling like Morpheus8 can work to help soften the area. Excising the scar would be a last resort in my opinion as you trade a scar for a scar. Other options aside from filler would be subcision with placement of nanofat underneath the scar. Nice job on using the sun and scar creams; these often will help keep the scar from worsening. Visit with a facial plastic surgeon who performs rhinoplasty and scar revision to learn more.
