Are plastic surgeons prepared for in-surgery complications? Is there a protocol for private clinics?

RealSelfMember09903993
I would like to understand if a surgeon is well prepared for in-surgery complications such as bronchospasms. I’m asmathic and I’m well controlled. but I know asthma and anesthesia sometime don’t mix well. My son, who’s two years old, is asthmatic too and during a minor tonsil surgery had 2 bronchospasm that required immediate action to stabilize.Luckily for him he was at a hospital and went to ICU. What happens in a private clinic? Do PS have a protocol? Note my surgery is a mini tummy tuck
