My temples are genetically sunken, especially when I smile (see photos) and I would like to fill them up. My nasolabial folds make a weird bump (see photos) rather than a deep wrinkle, so I was also wondering if there was a way to correct this and smooth them out. Although my concerns are not age related (i'm in my early 20s), I was interested in Sculptra for it's longer lasting effect. Would this still work even if i'm young? Or would an HA filler be more appropriate?
Answer: How to treat the temples and lines around the mouth Thank you for your question and photos. Sculptra is a very good treatment option for restoring volume to the temples, with improvements that can last up to two years. Keep in mind that it does take some time for Sculptra to work, so you will need to be patient as the product stimulates collagen production and produces natural results in the months following treatment. By augmenting the temples and perhaps the cheek area, you may see some nice improvement in the lines around the mouth as well. If you would like to reduce those wrinkles further, a bit of well-placed filler would likely be your best bet. Make sure you work with an experienced injector who has the expertise to produce the best possible results for you.

Answer: Injectable Fillers for Volume Loss in Temple / Temple Augmentation -- Soft Tissue Fillers like Radiesse, See an Expert As we age, the face naturally loses volume, specifically in areas like the temples, cheeks, lines around the mouth, and brow area. Soft tissue fillers like Radiesse or Restylane are great for lifting the brow, filling out the temples, and making the face appear more youthful. Sculptra is an alternative. I suggest getting a formal consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Sculptra I would recommend fillers with hyaluronic acid for the facial features. The results can be very precise. Sculptra unlike other fillers increases volume as it induces collagen production. So the solution itself is not the one that produces the added volume. The process relies on the body's natural collagen production.

Answer: Sculptra for filling sunken temples and nasolabial folds. Dear SlimmmmJimmmm, Thanks for sharing your photos. I see your concerns. If you desire a volume filler, use a hyaluronic acid gel. Sculptra, a bio-active filler stimulates collagen formation from fibroblasts for firming or tightening. Both can be used. Please consult with a well experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to examine your desires and review the benefits and limitations of each. All the best!

Answer: Sculptra Hello. Thank you for your question. Sculptra is the perfect product for hollow temples. It will help stimulate collagen to fill that area in. By adding volume back to that area, the lower parts of your face will have a more lifted appearance. This will help improve your nasolabial folds. You cannot inject Sculptra into the folds, but by injecting your temples, midface, and hairline you can lift that tissue back up that is causing the tissue to appear heavy and folded.
