Since my bbl surgery my surgery took about a week because they lipo in parts thé first day my butt was big and i was happy this last couple of days i see my butt like it was before thé surgery i am soo sas and depresed also sleeping on my face cause my face to sag and give me wrinkles i paid to ne uglier i am soo disapointed

Great question! At 18 days, most likely you still continue to see some volume loss to the buttocks.  It will take about 4-6 weeks before it start to level out.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

Thanks for your question. After surgery there is a predictable swelling process that mostly resolves over two months, when the final result really settles in.

Recovery from BBL is patient dependent. Much of this depends upon the amount of liposuction performed and the amount of fat transferred. I have observed that between 4 and 6 weeks the buttocks tend to stabilize in volume.  Usually by 3 months, the swelling is minimal and totally resolved by 6 months.  Suggest that you follow up with your PS to discuss your concerns.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well. 
After a BBL, only about 70% of the transferred fat cells will survive, so it is normal to see a minor reduction in your buttocks. If you have any concerns, I suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

I tell patients that six weeks is a good time to get a sneak preview. Some changes will occur after that but these are more subtle. It's a rare people change much after three months though I have seen that be the case. At 18 days you still have a ways to go before you see your final results.  This doesn't mean you will most likely see at the continued decrease in gluteal volume as well as improved results from the liposuction.  Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
