I started noticing the hair on my scalp getting thinner 6 months ago, with much more hair fall than usual. I went to see a hair loss specialist and diagnosed me with telogen effluvium. Eye brow hair also thinning. Blood tests came out clean except for a sedimentation rate of 40 (high). I noticed small and thin hair regrowing on my scalp but I'm still losing hair like crazy! Picture above is after passing my hand in my hair 20 times(very recent). Does the regrowth mean hair fall is about to stop?

Regrowing hair is a good sign - but does not mean the TE is over. If one has not solved the underlying reason for the shed, the shedding will continue. Please keep close follow up with your dermatologist.
