Spironolactone at 200mg. Is it effective in regrowing thinning hair due to PCOS (not TTC)? (Photo)

Question

I have extreme aniexty about losing it and would like to know whether Spiro is actually effective at regrowth or am I just wasting my time? I won't consider surgery at this point. Thanks!

In my opinion, spirolactone is helpful with PCOS. The addition of platelet rich plasma has been successful in our hands. In addition we have found that minoxidil taken orally at a dose of .25 milligrams adds benefit. Use of topical progesterone with the PRP and spearmint tea has also been helpful in our patient population.PRPHAIRMD.COM
