I am 4 months past my tummy tuck. Happy with the way I look. But my concern is my bowel movements. My stools are much smaller (Like a french fry where before they were fat hotdogs!) than before my tummy tuck. Also, I go days without a bowel movement and then have to use either a stool softener or a laxative. Before my tummy tuck I had a bowel movement every day. Should I be concerned?

Congratulations on your weight loss. It looks like most of your problem is now skin. You could try non surgical treatment like the Viora Reaction but surgery would be the best treatment. Good luck.
Thank you for your post. In general, your incisions need to be perfect, all drains removed and the drain site healed perfect, and the muscle repair needs to be mature with no areas of fluid collection. If the incisions are not perfect, or drain site, then you are at risk of infection in pools,...
It does look as if your scar is slightly red
at this stage and this can mean that it can itch as redness can be a sign of
inflammation within the scar.
I would recommend that you use a silicone
cream or pad on the area to reduce inflammation on the scar and this will
hopefully reduce its redness...
