I have 8 year old textured silicone implants and I should have had a lift at that time but the Dr. said I could go without it. I knew right after the surgery that was a mistake. Now 8 years later and a pregnancy, I have a horrible situation where it seems like my own breast has shifted down off of the implant. I want a lift (&areola reduction)+saline implants as replacements. Could this be done at the same time? I have read sometimes you need to do it in two surgeries?
Answer: Surgery An examination is needed to see how much actual breast tissue you have behind the nipples and if the lift can be done at the same time, or you need to wait.

Answer: Implant exchange and lift You can do this in one procedure to rectify your waterfall deformity. Although it can be safely done, be sure to go to a revision breast expert.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Combination of procedures Dear blossomtrees82, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.
