Can Trying to Mold Nose with Fingers Cause Permanent Damage?

June 27, 2011
Asked By:hiihaveaquestion in Georgia

I read somewhere that cartilage is made primarily of water and can be molded. I held my fingers and applied pressure near the bridge of my nose for 30 minutes two days on a row. My nose has swollen up and has become very large. It's been about a week, and the swelling hasn't gone down. Answers would be greatly appreciated!
