Answer: Marks after laser hair removal This picture is slightly out of focus. The marks looks like superficial burns. They should resolve without any permanent discoloration. Ideally, there should never be burns after treatment in the first place. Burns can be the result of intensity settings that are too high for your skin type. At Monroe Comprehensive Laser Center in Monroe, Mi, we use the Candela Gentlemax Pro with a dual platform Alex and Yag laser that works great for all skin types. We also conduct a thorough consult and history with a test spot before any treatments are done to make sure the patient is not on any meds that could increase heat sensitivity and do not get any skin reactions before they get a full treatment.

Answer: Will these marks go away after LHR? These marks are superficial burns. They don't look too serious and should go away within a week. Fortunately your skin type is light and there shouldn't be any residual complications. I recently purchased the Splendor X and it is the best hair removal on the market. It can treat all skin types quickly and safely.

Answer: Laser Hair Removal Hello. Thanks for your question. The marks on your neck should go away soon. Next time ask your provider if they could use a lower setting to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Answer: Hormones create hair follicles and for the face your hormones are the strongest on the body Thank you for your question. Hormones create hair follicles and for the face your hormones are the strongest on the body. Your hair grows in three different phases and it is required for you to have a laser hair removal treatment done every 4 weeks to catch the hair in the growth phase. You will notice your hair thin out and the growth cycle slow down after each treatment. After the hair is completely gone after 6-8 treatments it is recommended to have a maintenance session done every 6 months to a year. Please consult with a physican before having any treatments done . Best of luck!
