My hairs are growing hard after first laser sitting and very fast too. Is this normal?

Like I had my first laser sitting for the upper lip and chin area. And after my sitting of third day I have started having the growth and they are even hard may be because initially they removed the hair using blade. Is this normal ?

Hi, Before giving laser shots we need to remove hair using a razor to avoid superficial pricking pain. This is quite normal. What you are facing is a temporary effect, dont worry. We can achieve 50 - 60% reduction in hair growth.You will definitely be benefited by a few sessions followed by maintenance sessions once in three months.  Good luck.

When getting Laser Hair Removal on any part of the body, the only way to remove the hair before the treatment is with a razor. If you pluck or wax the hair prior to treatment, you are removing the root. The root needs to be present for the Laser Hair Removal session to be effective. Depending on what type of laser was used, the hair can actually fall out after each treatment or just grow back lighter and softer. If the hair does fall out in between each session, it can take 7-10 days for this to happen. The "hardness" of the hair you are feeling is most likely just the blunt hair that is growing back in.

This is a normal sequelae which occurs with hair removal laser in most cases. These are the burnt out hair which were present inside your skin at time of laser and usually sheds in 1-2 weeks. Show it your dermatologist if they don't shed to take a touch up session on those areas
