How to soften cartilage at tip four years after rhinoplasty? My nose looks crooked due to a bump at tip of nose.

whonose17
I got rhinoplasty 4 yrs ago. Soon after my operation there was a small bump of cartilage that developed on the left tip of my nose. This Cartilage never healed and it makes my nose look very crooked. my nostrils are very uneven. In photos, my nose often looks crooked + bump often catches the light!my surgeon said that he can try to remove it but that there is a risk of the cartilage growing back bigger?!? Help :(
