Restylane Skin Boosters is not approved in the United States. It is available abroad and I use it routinely in my Israel satellite facility (where it is regulatory agency approved) for treating very fine lines and crinkly, crepy skin (particularly of the lower cheeks) to help to hydrate the skin and promote new, native collagen and elastic fiber synthesis in order to smooth this often difficult to treat otherwise location. I do not use this product under the eyes, as seems to be the case here, since Restylane products are likely to result in small bumps. My choice for the under eye region in my Manhattan office is typically Belotero, a product that goes in smoothly and has little to no tendency to give rise to the unwanted, bluish Tyndall Effect when injected superficially into the delicate skin of this region. (In Israel, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved fillers are available, I would choose Teosyal Redensity II). Having said all this, I typically do not recommend dissolving hyaluronic filler for at least a month following treatment, since not uncommonly tissue edema (fluid accumulation) secondary to the treatment, which will likely spontaneously resolve, can often be the cause of the temporary bumps and swelling in the first one to four weeks after treatment. So, for the moment, be patient. But if the problem persists or worsens, you should consult with your physician regarding dissolving the product with hyaluronidase. Good luck to you.
