I am 6 weeks post-op. My right breast is slightly higher/firmer. I've been instructed to massage "aggressively". My normal routine is applying pressure up/down/in/out (repeat) 3 a day. After "aggressively" massaging my right breast hurts. I'm afraid I'm doing it too hard. I thought I could possibly have a "capsular contracture" but I'm trying to be patient until my next appt July 8. How hard is considered "aggressive" massaging? ? How strong/hard I should massage my breast w/o hurting myself?

Answer: What's consider "aggressive" massage after Breast Augmentation?
You should not massage your breast after only three days. In the first week the internal pocket is still highly vascular and lots of movement such as moving your arms and massaging will increase the collection of bloody fluid in the breast pocket. Not to mention that during the first...
Sounds like you are very insightful, I really try not to mess with normal anatomy. My guess is your folds were originally different and even if they look perfect on the table the long term results are unpredicatable. GOOD LUCK!
Thanks for the question. After 6 weeks your surgery area is totally healed and yes you can do gym and also do other activities. I wish you all the best.
