Question

It was to remove a small hump that was left after my 1.5 years old primary rhinoplasty. However Im starting to worry about the profile of my nose, because I feel that its starting to look like a parrot’s nose.

Patience.  Patience.  Patience. I do see what you are concerned about but there is absolutely no way to tell at this point whether there is anything to really be concerned about at all.  Your procedure was 2 weeks ago.  It takes time for the swelling to resolve.  My best suggestion, which Is always hard to do, is to quit looking at your nose for the next 6-8 weeks.  It will continue to change noticeably over that period of time.  There still will be swelling in another 2 months but at that point you'll have a better idea as to whether there is anything you need to be concerned about or not.  At this point it is likely that there is nothing you need to be worried about.  Good luck.

Hello and thank your for your question. I see the fullness your are concerned about on your profile view. It appears that the fullness is more toward the middle aspect of the dorsum of the nose, where as  with a classic "Polly beak" the fullness is in the supratip (right above the tip) area and the tip droops down, looking like a parrot's beak. It is difficult to assess your results only two weeks out. The fullness you are seeing can be a result of swelling, or not taking down the dorsum sufficiently, but unfortunately this determination can not be made online or this early. Best to follow up with your surgeon. Hope this helps.

You're still in the early phase of recovery, hence the postop swelling might be causing your nose to appear "full."  But to further allay your concern, visit your original PS; a second opinion could also suffice.Take note that polly beak deformity is comprised of excessive fullness of the supratip (right above the actual nasal tip), while the tip droops, leading to an appearance that resembles a parrot's beak.  Based on your photos, it appears you have none of the classic signs of such aesthetic problem.Good luck and best wishes.
