Am I losing grafts or is this just the hair shedding with dry skin and scabs? 1 week post-op. (photos)

7 days post op FUE. Scabs starting to flake off along with dry skin. I noticed some of the flakes have hairs in them and am now worrying I’ve lost grafts. No bleeding occurred.

If you are considering surgery it would be best to discuss your options with a doctor.  You need to explain to your doctor your goals and expectations. The doctor needs to examine you to give you a better assessment of when it is safe to have another procedure.

At 4 months post op hair transplant it’s too early to see results. The best results are seen at 12-18 months post op

Your donor area should be healed so you can use a hair clipper to trim your hair. If the donor area is not completely healed, it is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions.

Do any FUE doctors offer electrolysis to remove improperly placed grafts?

Removing grafts in the recipient area is not widely done, due to the amount of tissue that is taken from the top of the head during the removal process.  You may be better off having an addition FUE done which can help to camouflage the grafts that were improperly placed.  Laser hair...
