Do you think my filler could cause strep and react to amoxicillin badly. Will steroids help for both?

I had Restylane injected to my lips 12 days ago. Within 3 days I got strep throat, I took amoxicillin for 6 days (didn't fill out the 10 days) however the last 3 days my lips have been completely swollen and hurt worse than the day after injecting. I went into the dr that administered and they prescribed a steroid to take. Do you think the strep was caused from the filler? I got it within 3 days of injecting, and no one around me has strep or got it from me. Have you had any experience with this

Filler itself should not cause muscles to spasm. Botox could cause changes in the muscles surrounding the injections.  I suggest seeing an oculopastic surgeon if you are having eye concerns after fillers.  In general, if fillers were injected appropriately and with cannulas (which...

This could be residual swelling that will go away in a few more days, or excess Restylane. If it’s excess Restylane, a little bit of hyaluronidase will help get rid of it. Either way, it’s not permanent!
