My crown has fallen out and part of my tooth is still in the crown, my dentist won't be back in the office until next Monday a week from now. I have had a root canal done on the tooth so there is no nerve there. it is not sensitive yet, cold air and drinks do not bother the area. Should I do anything at home or do I need to go to another dentist?

Answer: Temporary crown came off, dentist not available
Hi:Normally the color of porcelain can not be changed, however if it is due to consuming staining liquids then you can try Oral Essentials whitening strip to remove the stain.Best,Dr. Maddahi
If the fracture is purely esthetic (ie. porcelain) and does not affect the margins or the integrity of the crown, you do not need to replace it. If you do need to replace it, I would suggest getting a metal occlusion instead of a porcelain occlusion.
An X-ray would really help figure out how badly decayed it is. However from the photo you posted it looks like that with me still be savable!
Your best bet is to get it checked as soon as possible before it deteriorates anymore
