My chin implant was done 15 years ago and over the last 4 yrs after a sculptra injection in the area I started feeling intermittent tightness/soreness & developed very superficial unnoticeable patches of inflammation. That come a &go. I can go for months without symptoms all without any meds. I do not want to remove it and am fine living with the intermittent tightness/soreness. Does biofilm grow over time? How can it be decreased? What specific antibiotics would you recommend if any and what dosage?

Once an implant has developed a biofilm, it is only removable by physically wiping/cleaning it off of the implant. It is not curable by antibiotics alone. Until the day comes, if ever, that a full blown infection occurs, living with the interittent symptoms would be reasonable.
