I have a weak chin when my expression is neutral, but the chin looks perfect when I'm smiling. Is an implant a good idea?

I was considering getting an implant because my chin seems pretty weak as far as I'm concerned, but I'm worried that my jaw might look too large, or jut out too far forward when I'm smiling, since at present a smile causes the bottom of my jaw to jut forward thus rendering my entire face neutral. Is this something that can be factored into an implant? If so, how does that even work?
