A hairline incision is necessary. It shouldn't cost any more than a regular brow lift.RealSelf provides data of average prices in your geographic area.To be sure, see twoor more board-certified plastic surgeons in your area for a full and completeevaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you tohave surgery.I hope this helps.
One of the advantages of using an incision at the hairline is that it can be used to both elevate and shape the brows and to advance the hairline. The hairs grow through the scar and it is very inconspicuous. Costs vary by surgeon, facility, and other things.
Hello and thank you for this question. Yes these can be accomplished through an open approach using an anterior based hairline incision. In our area of Florida this typically would run between 4 and $6000 depending on how you would choose to do it. I would recommend you consult a board certified plastic surgeon in your area and discuss this in more detail. Best of luck.
a tricophytic lift is what you are looking for. the result should give a nice lift to brow and an effective lowering of the hairline by 1-2 cm...cost is a bit more in my office because of the much more tedious closure needed over the usual endoscopic brow lift. plan on using bangs for a couple months while the scars mature.
The cost of a brow lift is determined by time in the operating room, time under anesthesia, and the surgeon's fee for performing the brow lift procedure. It is best to shop quality, not price since this is your face. For many examples and our price list, please see the link and the video below
The hairline may be lowered in conjunction with a brow lift. The incision is hidden at the forehead-hairline junction. This is a good option for a patient with a pre-existing high hairline. Costs vary from city to city and surgeon to surgeon. Donald R Nunn MD Atlanta Plastic Surgeon
Prices vary dramatically, but the hairline trichophytic procedure and moving the hairline should just be a standard part of the surgery for no extra charge. In our area that type of brow lift runs about $7500 and that includes the surgeon, a general anesthesia with a board certified anesthesiologist, and a certified surgical suite.
The Irregular Trichophytic Forehead Lift with Hairline Lowering, a procedure we described many years ago, will cost between $7,000-10,500 including surgery fees, operating room charges, and anesthesia fees.
This is a compatible combination of procedures. If the hairline is being lowered this is more than an "irregular trichophytic forehead lift". The cost is usually that of a hairline liwering plus an adjusted charge for a browlift. Depending on the degree of lowering or lifting, the total charges can range from $7500 to $11,000.
