Is it a good idea to have lipo and BBL if you have sciatica?

I was diagnosed with sciatica a few years ago due to a bulging disc in my back. I am planing on having lipo, bbl and breast augmentation. I just want be know what's best for me.

A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less. If you are too thin, a Brazilian Butt Lift may not be possible.

When a disc is pushed out from between the vertebrae above and below it the disc may impinge on a nerve root causing pain and or weakness. However, in liposuction of the lower back and grafting of fat to the buttocks surgeons do not affect the spine's vertebrae and the discs between them. As a result, the operation shopuld not affect your sciatica in any way.I would recommend you discuss your BBL plans with your spine surgeon though just to be sure.Good LuckPeter ALDEA  MDMemphis, TN

Dear Ms. Beautiful8806,Thank you for your questions.Sciatica is usually caused by a compressed nerve deeper than any liposuction or lipoinjection in the buttock area would be done. None the less I would discuss your proposed surgery with the phyiscian who made your sciatica diagnosis.Sciatica should not be affected by a breast augmentation.I recommend that you make several consultative appointments with Plastic Surgeons who are experienced and Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
