There are a few ways of locating a plastic surgeon who can remove your drains following a tummy tuck and BBL in another country, such as the Dominican Republic. You can contact your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and ask him if he has a contact person near your hometown who will see you. This may provide some continuity of care too. You can make an appointment in the plastic surgery clinic at a medical center. There will be a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon on staff. You should discuss with you surgeon how he wants you to take care of the drains. Part of the problem you are dealing with can be eliminated if you have the surgery performed close to your home and get post-op care there.  Perhaps your doctor has someone he can refer you to in your area.  Best of luck!
