Get the real deal on beauty treatments—real doctors, real reviews, and real photos with real results. Here's how we earn your trust.
Ask our mothers--each and every one of us is "the best" in our mothers' eyes. Ask our patients--oops, not one of us has 100% thrilled patients, but you can read reviews and get an idea. If someone "claims" to be best, then they would be subject to sanctions by our professional societies, and who would actually BELIEVE someone who is so self-absorbed to claim that (or even imply it) anyway? There is a fine line between confidence and cockiness, self-deprecation and humility, and recitation of training and accomplishments and touting of experience with "x-thousands" of operations.I really like Dr. Aldea's answer. Please read it (again). Do your homework yourself with multiple consultations, after first doing research into training, credentials, reviews, and photographic results of several ABPS-certified plastic surgeons. I would suggest that each and every one of us SHOULD claim that nobody can work harder or try to more effectively earn your trust--if any surgeon is not enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about you and your result, or if they just seem to be "phoning it in" without really giving your outcome the highest priority (you are simply a Porsche payment), then run, don't walk, from THAT office and find someone else who REALLY cares. Sorry, no easy answer, or "best" list here. Best wishes! Dr. Tholen
The best way to achieve a celebrity-like butt and hips is a Brazilian Butt Lift. A Brazilian Butt Lift is a procedure where excess fat is liposuctioned from different parts of the body and moved to the buttocks. This reshapes and adds volume to the butt while keeping a natural look. Final results are permanent and generally seen about 6 months after the procedure.
You will have to make that decision for yourself. I would look at credentials, before and after pictures, and reviews. You will need to become critical at analyzing photos and realize when camera angle or body position has been changed.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. When choosing a plastic surgeon, the most important thing to consider is that he or she is board certified, the experience with the procedure you are interested in and that you feel comfortable in his/her hands. In the Dominican Republic, we have excellent doctors, great professionals, and most importantly, board certified plastic surgeons, that you can choose from.I suggest you book a consultation to discuss the best options for your goals.Good luck :)
Members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) are forbidden by our Code of Ethics in calling ourselves ANY superlatives (such as best, smartest, most artistic etc) and we are subject to sanctions if we or our staffs do so. So, if you see any surgeon who does so, you can rest assured he/she is not a member of our society. Moreover, unlike sports where athletes compete and are compared based on speed, touvh downs, baskets or home runs scored, HOW can any ethical Plastic surgeon state that he is the best? It's not as if we had 100 identical twins being operated on by 100 plastic surgeons and the results were down put on large screens for thousands to see and vote on? So where does it leave you? Do your homework. Look at each surgeon's training. How do they compare? Look at your chosen surgeons' reviews. How do they compare? Then go visit a number of them and see for yourself how they come across and how does their staff come across? Who inspires most confidence?Whoever wins your scrutiny is THE BEST Plastic surgeon for you.Good Luck.Peter ALDEA MDMemphis, TN
