Hello, I'm 2 months post lipo on back, flanks and abdomen. How soon can I do ultrashape? I have some uneven areas. I am trying to smooth out the area. I know I still have swelling. I'm trying to avoid an procedures that are painful or uncomfortable. Would ultrashape be uncomfortable given I don't have much fat left on my abdomen? I got it on my arms and it only got hot near the elbow.

Answer: Ultrashape Post Liposuction Good afternoon and thank you for your question,As others have stated, it is probably best to wait until your liposuction procedure is all healed up before having an ultrashape session done. For best results consult your plastic surgeon.

Answer: UltraShape Power After Lipo UltraShape Power can be a great modality to help smooth contour irregularities after liposuction or even other non-surgical fat reduction procedures. The regular guidelines for UltraShape should be followed. That is, if there is “an inch to pinch,” and you don’t have any other contraindications to the procedure, it can be performed. Eight weeks is still relatively soon after surgery, so you may want to wait more like 12-16 weeks or even upwards of six months before embarking on UltraShape Power in the event that your contour irregularities resolve on their own. I would recommend consulting with your original plastic surgeon or another board-certified plastic surgeon for this. Good luck
