Am I able to get Botox on my forehead if I'm bald? I've heard this could be a problem. Is this true? (photo)

You can absolutely get Botox injections to the forehead if you are bald.  It is possible however that you will require injections to be done further up on your forehead if you can still see the muscles contracting.  Good luck

I have been injecting Botox for aesthetic reasons since 1991 and have injected during that time untold numbers of bald men without any unusual problems. What is important is that you do not seek treatment by some cut-rate, novice injector hawking treatment by the unit. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician with experience and expertise in injectable neuromodulator treatments (i.e. Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Juveau) and make sure to ask to see his/her personal before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. The main consideration to keep in mind is that your injector will need to assess how far up the muscle is active and make sure to fully treat otherwise you may notice an unusual pattern of movement limited to the upper part of your forehead/scalp where hair typically would hide it.As always, make sure to see an experienced, board certified injector.Hope this helps!

Lindsay here, CANS Nurse Injector for Dr. Mark Mason. YES, you can get Botox! The only problem I am aware of would be not treating high enough on the frontalis. Sometimes this happens with male pattern baldness, and you can see lines where the hairline might have covered it.
