Depending on the lighting you can see the shadow in my cheek or smile line im not sure what to call it. I want it to smooth out and be symmetrical with the rest of my face. Removing the shadow. Is this possible? I put a lot of facial products on my face with lots of chemicals ingredients some I can't even pronounce and maybe this is bad for my skin? I am 18 years old.

"I suggest reaching out to an expert for a formal consultation. I like to recommend my patients start a combination of facial rejuvenation treatments.

1) Skincare with products and microneedling/PRP
2) PDT Light Therapy a few times per month with growth factors
3) Laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant regularly and others (Fraxel, Moxi, Viva, CO2, Erbium, Halo) a few times per year
4) Sculptra injections a few times per year for collagen production with fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, Radiesse, and/or Bellafill
5) Thermage/Ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone-based Instalift threads for lifting
6) Botox every 2 to 3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest

I think you would be an excellent candidate to get a filler.   I would recommend that you consider Restylane in the laugh line as well as the cheek below the left eye to lift the laugh line.  This would provide the best and most natural result.  Good luck.!

Thank you for your question regarding injectable fillers.  It is difficult to accurately assess you without an in person consultation.  Dermal fillers allow us to offer contrast/highlights to the face and give subtle improvements.  Although skincare products are wonderful and very necessary they do have limitations.  Shadows are often due to a lack of volume in certain areas, creating shadows in other areas.  The area you are concerned about is called nasolabial folds.  Everyone has these, and you would not have a natural appearance if you were to completely get rid of them.  However, dermal fillers specifically hyaluronic acid based fillers can soften this area.  
I recommend scheduling an in person consultation with a board certified provider to determine the best treatment for you.
