Can the size 7 Gore-Tex implant be removed by closed approach & without affecting the tip plasty?

Hi docs, I've done rhinoplasty procedure overseas where the surgeon put size 7 gore tex in my nose. I also has tip plasty done at the time. Rhino was done less than 4 months ago. I'd like the gore tex to be removed completely with no replacement at all and keep the tip plasty as is.Can the size 7 gore tex implant be removed by closed approach and without affecting the tip plasty? What is usually the preferred method? Thanks again docs!

When we are surgically treating someone with a broad and flat nasal appearance, we utilize ePTFE (GoreTex) grafts to raise the bridge of the nose between 4 and 7 mm. Our experience, they may be removed via a closed approach. Generally, this product allows for tissue in growth so the removal is not as straightforward as with a silicone nasal implant.
