How you prevent the formation of lines in abdomen post-op liposuction 360?
Answer: Uneven after liposuction Dear BeauT4, I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors. It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery. Answer: Avoiding lines on the abdomen Well done Liposuction will not leave lines on the skin. Poorly done Liposuction by those who lack inherent skill and experience may leave to disfigurement including cobblestone appearance or streaks. Delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction results is more difficult than people believe. The single only variable that matters is choosing the most experienced and talented provider. This is how patients avoid ending up with disfigured outcomes. Defined the most experienced and talented provider patients should schedule lots of in person consultations. At each consultation ask the individual provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedure and anatomic area you’re interested in. Ask the provider to show results there were less than ideal and asked them to talk about why the results looked away they do. For abdominal liposuction and experience provider should have a minimum of 50 sets up before and after pictures but realistically top notch providers will have hundreds or possibly thousands. If a provider has only three sets of before and after pictures then thank them for their time and continue onto the next consultation. Secondly, review all reviews on various physician review websites. Choose providers who have the least number of justified negative reviews. When I look at the providers I’d buy the most in our field they all have the same two variables in common. They have collections of before and after pictures that read like telephone books and have managed not to upset patients to the point of needing to publicly scorn them despite being in practice for decades. Answer: Prevention of Problems after Liposuction I am not sure what you mean by "lines," but the best way to prevent problems after liposuction is to choose the surgeon carefully. There are many people offering liposuction, especially branded liposuction like Liposuction 360, who are not surgeons, much less plastic surgeons, and have taken a half day to slightly longer course in how to perform the procedure. Their results are not what you will get from a plastic surgeon who has spent at least 2 years learning the procedure and a minimum of 6 years learning the physiologic and healing aspects of the procedure. Experience also is important, so look for a plastic surgeon who has been doing the procedure for many years and can show excellent results.
