What kind of subcision tool is this?

Question

I found a youtube video where a chicken pox scar was being subcised with what looks like a very small and fine needle. Im interested in a very minimal subcision (as focused as possible only one one acne scar dimple and with a needle as small as possible). Have never seen other doctors use this kind of tool, but it certaily looks interesting for my puros. I have been performing subcisions for elevating and smoothing all kinds of scars--chickenpox, acne, post-surgical and post-trauma--since 1995 when it was first introduced. Conventional and traditional subcision was performed with an ordinary sterile needle, the kind typically intended to be attached to a syringe for injection purposes. These come in various diameters and lengths to correspond the variety of anatomic sites and purposes for which they are intended, which makes them excellent tools for subcising the varying sizes, shapes and thicknesses of scars. Unfortunately, these days, so many venues are in to hawking the expensive "next big thing" fraxel laser or RF device, rather than offering tried and true, quick and relatively inexpensive and safe and proven effective techniques, like subcision. So,  it is very important  to make sure to consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist experienced in subcision. Hope this helps.
