Question

A little overweight but my neck and back is starting to bother me. Really considering a reduction. Is it a bad idea?

Thank you for your question and photos. Based on the photos, you are a good candidate for breast reduction. It is important to contour the lateral chest wall to fully reshape the breasts. I use a modified breast reduction technique to keep upper pole fullness and and create a natural looking breast. This surgery I do in our accredited in office surgery suite under deep intravenous sedation only, not general anesthesia. Unfortunately, a standard breast reduction leaves a boxy look to the breast and excess fat in the armpit and lateral chest wall. Based on the three post of photos you are candidate for breast reduction with the understanding there are permanent scars in the anchor appearance. Best of virtual concert with fees if the surgery is not covered by insurance, which most likely it will not be because the breast are not super large or hypertrophy. Would be $8000-$15,000 again best of virtual consult with.
