I had a unilateral breast reduction for asymmetry and the breast that was worked on was lifted way higher than the other. My plastic surgeon then did a small lift on the breast that wasn’t worked on and the breast he did the breast reduction on is still higher. Should I get a breast lift on both breasts again? Because at this point I dont trust unilateral breast procedures. One of my nipples is also smaller than the other
Answer: Breast Lift Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, it appears that you have asymmetric inframammary folds. In order to accomplish better symmetry, one would either need to be brought high or lower. In regards to the nipples, a small incision around the area would be enough to reduce the size. I recommend speaking to a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

Answer: Uneven Your larger areola can be made smaller. If you have the incision underneath your larger breast, excess skin and tissue can easily be removed through that incision to make you more even. Otherwise, the vertical incision can be used again.

Answer: Breast asymmetry Thank you for your question. Your breasts are definitely asymmetric, your left breast has a higher infra mammary fold, and the shape Overall is different. The right breast is larger than The lat, and therefore it will need to be decreased to provide a better match. The other option is to put a small implant or fat grafting into the smaller breast. Regardless, the fold of one of the breasts needs to be either raised or lowered. This may be able to be accomplished without operating on both breasts, however if you trust your surgeon, let him or her use their discretion in the operating room to decide what is best. Good luck.

Answer: Asymmetrical breast lift Dear bellaluna123, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
