Hi, had a bbl in Aug 2020. Have some dents when I stand at an angle. Can this be fixed without a whole bbl revision?
Answer: Dents after BBL What you have is, lack of central buttock projection. This is quite common after BBL where as the fat survives OK in the upper pole but rather poorly in the central and/or lower pole of the buttock cheek. Long story short, you are in good company with many others who had high hopes for BBL but instead received disappointing results (lumpiness, unevenness, lack of projection in the central and/or lower buttock, post-deflation sagging, etc.). It is not quite as much the quality of the doctor but rather the quality of the procedure that is a large part of the problem. Thus, going back for round 2 BBL most often produces the same disappointing results but at another financial loss. Buttock implants indeed provide a more reliable, predictable, relatively safe, and permanent result, especially for adding projection to the buttock and often smoothing out lumpiness. Please keep in mind that an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants so be sure to consult with one that is reputable and experienced. Unfortunately you may have to travel long and far away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Answer: Dents Dear stephbabani, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Dynamic indentations Because you’re dense only form from movement they are not related to the outcome of the procedure and what most likely not be able to be corrected. Most likely these represent connective tissue pulling on the skin with what you call “ standing at an angle“ this is a dynamic change and the dynamics of body movement when standing in that position will continue. This isn’t going to be easy to fix and I suggest excepting your outcome as being good. Doing a revision always has a chance of making things worse. I suggest you follow up with your provider. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Good Afternoon, Thank you for your question. This is a very good result after a BBL procedure & such small dents are expected. Fat can get absorbed at grades & variable places. My suggestion is to wait it out & consult your Doctor. He may put a little ft into it.
