Hello!Every surgeon has their own routine for the garment after surgery. The type with the openings for the butt cheeks are popular, but not all plastic surgeons use these, and in my practice it depends on how much fat is transferred and to what regions on the buttocks.I would recommend following the advice of your plastic surgeon- she will guide you to your best result.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Each doctor has their own protocol. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.I suggest my patients use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to get the best results. It is important for the compression garment to be very tight, for it to help with the swelling, after surgery. I ask my patients to change to a smaller garment as soon as the first starts feeling loose. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Good luck :)
every surgeon has their own preferences and postop routines for fajas. you should check with your surgeon what their specific procedure is. if you are calling the open buttock style of faja the 'butt-out' kind - I typically use these immediately following surgery (the patient wakes up with this kind on them following surgery). here is a link to a pic of a patient of mine in the recovery room immediately following surgery with this type of faja on (if this is what is meant by the 'butt-out' kind. but again - check with your surgeon as they know the specifics of what they did in your surgery.
Thank you for your question. In my practice patients are immediately putt into a butt out faja or similar garment after a Brazilian Butt Lift. They continue to wear this garment for the first several weeks or longer depending on swelling. In addition at the first week I encourage patients to get post liposuction massages to help dramatically reduce swelling and inflammation.
