1-2 weeks sounds reasonable for waxing as long as your PS clears you from having any skin maceration. I don't recommend sitting down on your bottom for more than 1/2 an hour for the first week. Gradually increase the pressure on your bottom with time. I would recommend swimming once all of the open the wounds have healed usually 3-4 weeks.
