Hi I am 26, after losing a lot of weight due a disease my jawline and under neck are a bit flabby, I got 4 PDO barbed threads lift last month. They have not work at all in one side and only a tiny bit on the other side. I definitely don't want a necklift. My disease is cured now. I want to try Ultherapy.. how long should i wait untill to have it done, as i had the threads inserted last month? As well i want to know if i can have microneedling over the threads? Thanks and Best Regards
Answer: Ultherapy and Microneedling Thank you for your question! It is great to know that you are better and have overcame your disease! Microneedling and Ultherapy, are both great options to help with lifting and tightening the skin. However, a consultation with an experienced doctor would be necessary to get the best results. Best regards!

Answer: Wait on Ultherapy for 4 months after PDO threads Hello and thanks for posting. Sorry to hear about your poor results from the PDO threads. In the several years that PDO threads have been available in the United States the quality and lifting power of the threads continue to improve. Also, clinicians are getting better at avoiding complications and are getting better results. One of the latest entries into the market is HansBiomedical and their line of Mint threads. These threads are heads and shoulders above the competition in my opinion. You can get microneedle treatments any time because this treatment is in a more surface depth. I just returned to the states from a PDO thread conference in Seoul Korea and this exact question about use of Ultherapy after PDO threads was asked. The consensus answer was about 4 months, mainly because Ultherapy can break down threads more quickly. I hope that this information helps and best of luck to you!

Answer: Ultherapy & Microneedling Question Follow Up Hi There! All great questions! First off, I am so grateful you are feeling better and your condition has improved! Your health is so very important but as a result of the condition, it sounds like you have some skin laxity issues. So both Microneedling and Ultherapy are great choices to improve skins tightening and collagen remodeling.Microneedling in an office setting would best done with PRP, platelet rich plasma, so your own plasma is infused into the skin while the microneedling device goes over the full face. This technique will give you the best results and goes hand in hand with PDO Threads. Since the device doesn't penetrate into the skin as the thread do. Ultherapy is another cohesive treatment for skin tightening and is the only FDA approved non-invasive skin treatment for lifting the skin. By using Ultrasound technology the technician can see through the skin tissue and directly target the fatty-connective tissue that lies directly above the bone. This achieves deep delivery of soundwaves creating successful targeting of the collagen and elastin tissue to give the skin the bounce-back it needs. Ensuring you have realistic expectations I always recommend scheduling in for a consultation with your desired office. Both Ultherapy and Microneedling may take several treatments to achieve successful results. I can't stress enough how important good skincare in conjunction to these procedures is. Hope this is helpful! Keep the questions coming.
