QUESTIONS ANSWERED

I wanted to know if the Microdermabrasion is causing my sunspots/pigmentation, if it helps with mild acne & scarring?...

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
If you have acne you may need to treat acne. Acne could be causing Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Also apply sunscreen once a day is not adequate. You need to reapply every 2hours. if  daylight even in car and spf 30 at least

Could these few bumps around head of penis be warts or just PPP? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
Looks Like PPP common, this is an Anatomical variation. They are seen in a higher percentage in uncircumcised men but harmless. They can be removed. These lesion tend to be stable and don't really change. So if you see changing lesion follow up with your doctor.

How do I get rid of tiny bumps after chemical peel? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)
The bumps may be due to a number of reasons:

1) the moisturizer with SPF 30, it may   be reaction to the chemical ingredients
2) the type of peel , it's ingredients and you may be having an allergic reaction
3) acne breakouts that sometimes occur after a peel ( not clear by picture)

I would use hycortisone only and follow up with your doctor.

If you are African American or of darker skin like myself, Dr. Sandy is the dermatologist for you

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Sandy. She was meticulous in her work and she listened to all of my concerns in regards to my skin. She gave me a easy skin regimen to follow. I saw results to my skin scaring immediately thanks to Dr. Sandy. She works with all skin types, but if you are African- American or of darker skin like myself, Dr. Sandy is the dermatologist for you especially.

Skin Savior

Dr. Sandy is the best dermatologist I have ever had! I have had terrible acne throughout my life. I visited many dermatologists before her, and none of them improved my skin the same way Dr. Sandy did. She is extremely knowledgable, patient, and is a joy to be around. All of my old dermatologists would rush and speed through my visits with them, Dr. Sandy does not. It feels like has changed my skin overnight. She is truly amazing!!

Acne Treatment - Columbia, MD

Dr Sandy had a great approach. She listened to my problems and the experience i had with all the medicines I was given by other doctors over the years. She figured out that what I was eating was a big part of my acne problem. So no more dairy for me.!!! You would never know i have acne. thanks doc.

Morbidly Obese -Ellicott City, MD

I saw Dr. Sandy for weight loss problems when I was diagnosed as morbidly obese. I had tried everything to lose weight and was becoming depressed that nothing worked. Dr. Sandy showed me a program that would allow me to lose 20 lbs. in 30 days while eating 5 meals a day to avoid hunger and triggering a starvation response by my body. After one month, I lost 26 lbs.! I have started my second round of weight loss with her. She was supportive and compassionate every step of the way. She even made special trips to her office to meet with me. I can't praise her enough. I feel lucky to have met her.

run far away - Ellicott City, MD

I had scars from previous acne, with little to no pimples on my face. Dr Natasha Sandy, advised that I go through a set of Chemical Peel, which involved 3 peels in all. She also prescribed multiple topical products including antibiotics. One thing she kept promising was that after each peel, I will see some kind of improvement. After 3 Jessner peels, my face became worse than it was before I first visited her. I understand that after a peel, one's face may form white heads, however mine was beyond normal. White heads lingered for months, after which they all formed into black heads. I complained to Dr Natasha Sandy, and all I received was excuses from her. She prescribed multiple topical products, which only made my face WORSE. About 3 months after my 3 sets of Jessner Peel, she recommended a stronger peel. As a result of the outcome experienced weeks after this peel, I finally mustered the courage to stop visiting her practice and look for another dermatologist. I really cannot put a finger on what went wrong, but this Doctor completely destroyed my face. I now have BLACK scars on all parts of my face, especially my chin area. Not only do I have spots, I have a combination of regular acne and multiple boil-type acnes. Stubborn white heads both small and large ones are now all over my face. NOTE: I NEVER HAD THESE BEFORE. All I had were scars/spots.
