Post op day 4 BBL, very strong pain on one side??

Question

So my right cheek, the underneath part hurts so badly. I have used this leg more for getting in and out of bed, and my SUV. So I'm wondering if I just over worked it? It does seem slightly more swollen than my left side. It almost feels like a constant muscle spasm. Is this a normal part of healing? No redness, or heat. I'm assessing myself as a nurse. No signs of DVT in my lower extremity either. I did a lot of walking yesterday also. Thanks!!

your question.Since there has been a change in your post op course, please contact your plastic surgeon so he/she can examine you and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan at this time.

The best way
to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.

Hi and thanks for the question. This is something to address with your surgeon. There are several things that could be going on including muscle spasm, normal post op discomfort, blood clot and fluid collection. The best option is to contact your PS and have a physical exam. Best of Luck- Dr Hardy
