I have permanent discoloration after Vi peel. Is this normal? (Photo)

I has My second vi peel and it went well, I'm actually on my 7th day after the procedure and My chin is still really dry kind of peeling but some patches are like bronzed or red and the rest is my normal skin... Is this normal? Ps: I have reaaaaally sensitive skin

In our office, we typically ask patients to use a ceramide cream after a chemical peel to help improve the skin's moisture barrier function. Our choice is the Elevase cream. In addition, light chemical peels afterwards and Melarase for discoloration can help. Best, DR....

Stronger chemical peels should be performed by a knowledgeable practitioner. I would opt for an expert to do the peel and begin application of Melarase creams before and after treatment to help with discoloration. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles, CA

Take good care of your skin at this point and avoid direct sun exposure. I would begin application of Melarase creams twice daily to help reduce the chance of skin discoloration. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles, CA
