Using olive oil 7 days after hair transplant for dryness.

I was advised by my HT doctor to use olive oil, 7 days after FUT Hair transplant, for dryness on the recipient and donor area. Is this okay? Will it affect the grafts?

Your donor area looks very limited,you have to be very carefully for a  second hairtransplant .Maybe beard and chest hair extraction can help for a better coverage

Hello, please see below for some helpful tipsWe advise to avoid sexual activity for first week after hair transplantation.  The rationale is to avoid increasing blood pressure.  There are no studies supporting this however.   Best  Anil Shah MD

The number grafts you can safely harvest may be different for everyone.  It depends on your donor density and scalp elasticity.  It also depends how long the scar may be.  (Longer scar = more grafts)

It is normal to lose transplanted hairs weeks after surgery.  It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out.

Sun exposure is not recommended after surgery but if it already happened there isn't much you can do.  Sunburn can potentially discolor your scalp and scar.
