Hello Doctor, 3 months ago I had undergone hair transplant, 3000 grafts frontal hair line created. Now I want to go for crown area. I donot have donor scalp so doctor suggest for beard and Chest....I want to know in my case how grafts needed to atleast cover the baldness, as per you.

Answer: Hair transplant surgery is not about "how many grafts" you need, but about how a doctor can match your goals and expectations.
In Asians, the donor density is often lower than Caucasians and the donor density often limits the harvesting amount along with the donor laxity. These are professional judgments that your doctor made for your safety.
If you are referring to the actual recipient area grafts, many of these shed so that they may look bald. If you are talking about your native hair, then you might have developed shock loss (see below)
