Should I be concerned about small bumps on nose after rhinoplasty? 1 year post op.

Thank you for your pictures. After rhinoplasty, sometimes a bump can appear. This can be the result of scar tissue build-up, bone reaction, inadequate bone removal, or collapse of the cartilage. Please ensure your surgeon examines you and determines the exact cause of it. With the correct treatment, the shape of your nose will get better. Best of luck to you.

Good Morning! Thanks for the questions and photos. The bump you're showing is likely to be a small imperfection of the bony vault. This can certainly happen despite our best efforts. Prior to considering revision of the area, I may have the patient undergo steroid injections, compression exercises, and taping to see if improvement can be made. If not, then a minor nasal revision may be needed which would likely involve rapsing the bone +/- camouflage over top. Hope this helps you!
