If the scar is raised/thick, then injecting it with cortisone would be reasonable too. Sometimes recutting the area is also an option. Answer: I have a scar on my inner thigh from surgery. What can I do? Appears as such a small scar that revision surgically could worsen it. Did you research into trying a laser scar revision? Only offered in dermatology offices. If you desire scar revision by excision fee $1,000 under local anestesia.

Certain creams out there may help to an extent, but I would advise getting a few laser resurfacing treatments over time to achieve an optimal result. I recommend the Sciton laser.
