My upper thighs are discolored even though thighs were not part of procedure. Called Dr. told me it was bruising. Did not see me. This is something else.
Answer: Liposcution and Bruising It is common for bruising to stay for up to 3 or 4 weeks after liposuction in some cases. And bruising and swelling can travel down far from the areas treated. Answer: Bruising The bruising from the areas that were liposuctioned settles down due to gravity to the lowest point, in this case your thighs. It is nothing to be worried about.

Answer: Skin discoloration skin discoloration after laser assisted liposuction. The most common cause of abnormal color after liposuction is bruising. Did you have liposuction assisted with a laser or ultrasound? Thermal damage by these modalities can generate pigment changes in the skin they can be long-lasting and possibly permanent.

Answer: I have a lot of purple discoloration on inner thighs after Ab/Flank lipo. You did not state time since surgery! Plus posting photos always gives the expert responders a chance to determine if you fall in the normal recovery status... You can ALWAYS obtain a paid in person second opinion...

Answer: Purple discoloration after Liposuction Greetings. This may be secondary to bruising. The best thing would be to follow up with your surgeon to make sure. Good luck!
