I want to try lip filler. If I don't like it, can I just let it dissolve and everything will go back to normal? Or are there any potential adverse, long term issues?

I don’t believe it’s against the law for people to inject water in their lips but it is not recommended from a medical perspective.
If water is going to be injected it should be done with 0.9% sodium chloride solution called normal saline that is sterile using sterile equipment.
