Can horizontal deep static forehead lines be treated with Radiesse (dermal filler) with less than 50% odds for droopy eye lids?

Question

An expert injector Ivy League Dermatologist in Miami used Botox that resulted in 3 months of one droopy eyelid. As I see it, a dermal filler product given superficially can volumize the line so that it's symmetrical with the forehead and, if given in a "beaded" manner can highly prevent droopy lid that most people complain about by using a different product. I know it is about persons own body, expertise by injector, etc. Thanks.

Botox does not treat static lines so filler is a better choice for you; however, Radiesse is not to be used as a superficial filler so the best result would be with a filler such as Versa

Hello. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, you just had a bad injection with Botox. Putting filler in your forehead is extremely unsafe. It is a highly vascular area and has a high risk for occlusion. Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) are the best way to get rid of those wrinkles. When you had your forehead injected did you also have your glabella (area in between your eyes) injected? If not, this is why your brows dropped. Your glabella, when treated, opens up the area and lifts the brow. The forehead (frontalis) muscle when treated, depresses and drops. So you need to put a significant amount in your glabella to keep the brows from dropping. My advice would be to research another injector and get Botox again.
