Will high blood pressure stop me from having a BBL?

Thanks for posting.   Many patients with hypertension (high bp) successfully undergo surgical procedures such as BBL, as long as the hypertension is controlled.   Uncontrolled hypertension poses both long term and short term serious consequences to your health and should be better managed whether or not you undergo surgery. Hypertension alone is not a contraindication for surgery, since this is a chronic illness. But you have to go to surgery with your blood pressure under control. We always perform cardiovascular checkup to all our patients that are planning to have surgery, to make sure that your heart and circulatory system are ready for surgery. If the cardiologist finds that your blood pressure is not controlled, treatment adjustments will be made until you are cleared for surgery.Remember to always consult a board certified plastic surgeon, so that your surgery is handed out with the highest security standards.
